Our selection of local and imported cured meats are all handcrafted by our suppliers with much care and enthusiasm we hope to impart onto your kitchens.
Wild Peacock Products (PTY) Ltd is a uniquely owned family business established in 1991. Sharing the same love for fine foods (particularly quality oysters) are the two Managing Directors, Mother and son, Sue and Ross Baker. The company’s success developed over the years due to valuable customer relationships, promising suppliers and other strategic partners. Getting as close as possible to their valuable clients and producers is what makes the difference. Their primary philosophy is to source high-end quality products based on sustainablility, ethical company structures and long-term relationship building.
Distribution facilities consist of a mulit-temperature storage and packaging facility with ranges of refrigerated vehicles delivering to various clients within the Western Cape, South Africa. Thrid party distributors and couriers are used to supply clients in the remaining parts of the country.
Over the past 10 years the South African food scene has grown at a rapid pace and our aim is to support and share valuable experiences by supplying Fine Foods, Good Quality and even Better Service! The Wild Peacock Food Emporium was established in 2010 in Stellenbosch. In 2013 it won the Eat Out Produce Award for Outstanding Outlet in South Africa. Its aim is to supply and accommodate members of the public with these exceptional products in a retail outlet.
